07 - Shame Does Not Define You, but God Does!

Shame sucks. It feels like you have to hide and that the darkness just might consume you. It comes from our mistakes, our sin, and/or the actions of others that have negatively affected us. And it's hard to see the light when our shame threatens to overwhelm us. In this episode of the Revival Podcast for Millennial Women, we discuss shame, what it feels like, and how it can affect us. We feel like we can't fulfill our callings, that we're disqualified when we live in shame. But we are not condemned. We are new creations in Christ. And God has freedom from shame for us if we will go to Him. He wastes nothing, my friend. He will waste no experience, no hurt, no mistake. You are still called and He is still able to use you for His kingdom. He's with you always and works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. So, let's step from the darkness to the light, let's uncover our shame before God, and experience the healing only He provides!
